Pre-Season 1

C!Ethan grew up in Grimwyck where he learnt his family's magic of plant magic, he was also able to do golem magic and made the iron golems that are around Alwdynn. When some adventurers disturbed something below Grimwyck and the skulk began to spread, C!Ethan's brother ventured down with some other people to try and kill it. However C!Ethan's brother never returned and his parents began to fear the skulk so fled Aldwynn with C!Ethan's younger sister. C!Ethan stayed in his family's house and continued running the food stall his parents owned. When he was young he had caught C!Taylro stealing from their stall and told his parents, assuming it was the right thing to do, however this ended up putting C!Taylor in prison.

Season 1

Early in the season C!Ethan loses his spell book which is a soul tie. This cause the skulk to begin to infect him, he studies the skulk in hopes to learn how to get rid of it but he doesn't find much. C!Ashlyn ends up forcing him to go to the catcombs in a group to get a spell book for him so that he doesn't die. Eventually C!Ethan and C!Andy become friends and start to hang out alone a lot which leads to C!Ethan devleoping feelings. He confesses these feelings to C!Andy at christmas and when told he is "moving too fast" he assumes that means just to give C!Andy some time. At the New Year's Eve party, he attends under the alias of "Lonan" and brings his crow with him. He spends the night with "Angel" and almost kisses them but stops it due to his feelings for C!Andy. For a Valentines party, C!Ethan asks "Angel" to meet him at the tavern however they never show up. C!Andy is there and the two spend the evening talking and getting drunk which leads to C!Ethan kissing them and then the two fighting, which ends with C!Andy saying that he had "been around a lot". C!Ethan ends up swapping bodies with C!Andy (much to his displeasure) in one of C!Andy's dreams and is forced to go on an adventure with them. After the New Year's Eve party C!Ethan recruits C!Taylor and C!Desca to rob the palace with him, they are successful and each run away with a lot of loot. After, C!Ethan and C!Taylor get drunk and C!Ethan tells her about his feelings for C!Andy. A while after valentines C!Ethan and C!Taylor go underneath Grimwyck to hide the loot as the Giredale guards are searching houses. Soon the royal guards make a stab in the dark, taking C!Ethan, C!Taylor, and C!Desca into custody and they're given a trial. C!Ethan is found to be the illegitimate child of his parents during the trial and is eventually bailed out by C!Andy, who walks him home and they briefly talk about what happened on Valentine's Day.

Because C!Ethan can make golems he often has some around his greenhouse. However, not long after he got his spellbook back, he was introducing C!Andy and C!Taylor to Marlin (a sniffer) when a zombie got into the enclsoure. He targeted it with his fireflies however after killing it the fireflies start attacking Lily and end up killing her. When C!Ethan returns to his greenhouse his dirt golem (also called Dirt) is missing and his first-one golem (Bud) that he hides a little further away is also missing.
